To get past it,
you have to
move through it
Whether you’re dealing with the after effects of trauma, anger, aggression, anxiety, mood instability, relationship difficulties, infidelity, suicidality, self-harm, or overusing substances, there is help. You can process emotional pain to achieve greater mental and emotional well-being.
Many therapists simply listen and ask the same questions in every session, every week, for years. In my practice, clients set clear goals and we work together to achieve them, with the end result of graduating from therapy living a more meaningful life!

My Approach
My goal as a therapist is to make myself obsolete – I will partner with you as you do the hard work, learn difficult skills, and ultimately reach a point of self-sufficiency and confidence so that I’m no longer necessary. I will ask difficult questions, listen, and empower you so that you can create the life that you want to live.
When trauma has taken away choices, I help clients reclaim their agency. If you or someone you know is seeking support and looking to overcome the cycle of trauma and avoidance, I’d love to discuss how we can work together.
Evidence based
I use research to inform my treatment recommendations and interventions. We know what helps people live their lives more fully.
Personalized
I start with a thorough assessment of your concerns, needs, and goals and identify whether there is a mental health diagnosis that best explains what you’re dealing with. We decide together on a treatment plan that is the best fit for your needs, informed by the research literature.
